Alternatively, if they say no, you could be a nice friend and a responsible brony and respect the opinion of someone who isn't interested. Jus' sayin'.

I'm dealing with this right now, though. My roommate has committed to watching an episode of MLP, and I'm not sure if I should show him The Return of Harmony or A Canterlot Wedding. Leaning toward the latter.
Slice of life episodes are a better representation of the show than the big adventure episodes, which is why I'd go for something more like The Last Roundup. A Canterlot Wedding is easily the girliest episode of all, too.

I think Hazzat may be correct actually. However, I'd still say it's still probably the most adventurous and manly episode of all. They don't really cancel each other out, but coexist respectively. The girliness however, should be mostly overshadowed after the potential brony witnesses the adventure nearer the end which should leave a bigger impression.
But I only think I'd use that episode on the most close-minded person possible, as regular episodes give a better representation of the show, and as they start watching other episodes will love to see that it gets better from there.
Also, for certain reasons, I can only choose an episode from Season 1.
As of now, I'm leaning toward Winter Wrap Up. It's a good fun episode, but most importantly shows off Daniel Ingram's musical genius.

The Return of Harmony, definitely.
Just because of all the hilarious gags and Star Trek and Star Wars references.
The problem with Return of Harmony is it's best if you've seen the fist two episodes before. I found it slightly hard to follow because I watched it without seeing them.

I think I disagree with you. Actually I find Look Before You Sleep girlier.

I don't think the best thing to show would be something with a song in it, no matter how good the song is.
I was thinking of Dragonshy, even if it has a short song...but it's actually really short (around 20 seconds).

I was actually just going to say that. And if there's a need for any snappy respones, I've got loads of them.
I probably should've explained more in my earlier post, I wasn't trying to say that A Canterlot Wedding was the manliest of all the episodes, I just don't think it's the girliest (Look Before You Sleep) is.
GRAT IT!* The YouTube channel I was watching MLP on, Alrax96, has been removed by Hasbro.
Can anypony reccomend a different YouTube channel? I would perfer one that has high picture quality, without the watermarks, most if not all of the episodes, and links to the next episode at the end (doesn't matter if the episodes are divided into two parts as long as it has this).
Check out YayPonies. Though if you're one of the lucky people to be in the US, I would implore you to buy the show via iTunes to support it.
I don't buy video from iTunes because I don't care for the DRM restrictions. If they ever release the full season on physical media, I'd be swayed.

Well, I don't think I want to download the epsidoes. I don't want to take up space on my computer for something I'm just going to watch. Thanks anyway.
I found a channel that has good picture quality without watermarks before I posted that, but I had some trouble finding the next episode/part of episode. I also wanted to see if somepony had a reccomendation. But I figured out how to find the episode/part I was looking for. So I'll go with that channel.
