This is more After Effects test than anything else. I tried to make a decent looking James Bond gunbarrel, with reflections and all that.
There are two gunbarrels, one like in Casino Royale and one like in Quantum of Solace.

Looked very nice. Only quibbles I have are that the circles were too big in the second one, and I might have let them linger a bit longer before fading them out. But I can't really recall what the gunbarrel at the end of QOS looked like.
Not to hijack the thread, but anyone with AE looking to replicate this effect might be interested in this.
Here is another Casino Royale style gunbarrel, it has better reflections and I added a muzzle flash.
