Re: What camera do you use for brickfilming?

I use one of these. I think its the best camera for brickfilming. I got it off ebay, it only cost me £5. The guy who sold it me said it has a native resolution of 3200x2400 uses 5 CCD chips and films at 30fps easily. The only drawback is that it didn't come with a usb lead. I have read on the net that it is hdmi compatible, but I haven't found the connection yet. I'm also told that it has 24 bit RGBS colour (Red,Green,Blue,Sepia), but all my films so far have turned out a dirty brown. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: What camera do you use for brickfilming?

Y'know, people always ask me what camera I use and I just say 'a DV camcorder'. When they ask which one, I just say that I have no idea. So now, I'm going to find out.

OK, I'm back, and the camera is...

According to his YouTube account he said that he did use the QCP9000 but he couldn't get
the quality he wanted with it so he stopped using it.

Re: What camera do you use for brickfilming?

Absolutely correct, Homerball. A gold star for paying attention.

Example of mediocre quality I was getting from it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wrd87Ez2Xlg

Besides, the original reason I wanted it was because it could focus much closer than my camcorder, but then I worked out how to get it focus really close up and the Quickcam became obsolete. Now it is plugged in to a different computer and my brother uses it to take hard nut pictures of himself.
