I really didn't know that. It's funny, because a few months ago the same question arose and several different people concluded that it didn't have manual settings such as focus, exposure (lock), etc .
But I seriously don't get that, they make a version of the 9000 specifically for macs, yet they don't include all the functions?? Sheesh.
As for the 4000, it works only up to a version of mac 3 or 4 years ago, and my system I bought a little before last year.
Wow. Now knowing this, it makes the whole mac experience that much better
