Through The Years (STAR)
A history of a usual North American town. Inspired by the Chevrolet Volt commercial. 120 years in 2 minutes, holy poo!

I really liked this film. It's an interesting concept, and you pulled it off very well. Great set design, and the music went along very well with each decade.
I really liked how that strip of land became a barn, then a saddler store, then a club, bar, computer store, and then an Apple Store. it was awesome and must have taken you a lot of time to build all of the sets.
I agree with everyone else, I thought your angle on the STAR theme was very cool. I liked how you used the styles of music to differentiate the decades, and set design and animation were great.
Please tell me that there's a record store somewhere called Vinyl Countdown. I really really liked this.
man, this is a great film. top notch animation, and I love your set building.
This has a very good chance of winning. Definetly one of my favorite STAR entries.
Great job.
This film is another one of my STAR favorites. The concept is simple and a little like nichtgedreht's Weltraffer but you portray a single location which makes it sort of cool. The animation and sets are both well-done and are effective recreations of each decade.
This was one of my favorites of STAR. I agree with Smeagol, the film did remind me of Weltraffer, but I thought you had an interesting spin on the concept. The sets were well constructed, and I think you accurately recreated the style and mood of each decade. The "greasers" and hippie eras were some of my particular favorites. Excellent work.
it is...one of my favourites of the STAR premiere...your film has a simple concept, but well developed...and in some parts it's funny, like in 1990 when I see the rappers...

Very basic concept, but you pulled it off well, and I never ended up feeling bored or wishing that the film was faster paced. Good job overall.

Positively charming. What it lacked in technical detail it made up for in character. The transition to the 60's in colour worked well.
It was also one of my favourites. Well played!
I loved this entry. I liked how the buildings changed colors for the 60's and the styles of music.
I loved the sets in this movie.
