A history of a usual North American town. Inspired by the Chevrolet Volt commercial. 120 years in 2 minutes, holy poo!

Staff Review

Randy Yard:
It's tough to get a grip on what's so darn appealing about this short, but there's no denying its . A simple but effective affair, we observe the development of a single plot of ground from the arrival of the first residents in the 1880s all the way to the section of bustling metropolis it has become today. The attention to detail is noticeable everywhere, as detailed sets, props and costumes evolve with the times, and even the music and look of the film match their respective eras. Though its implied message about urban sprawl might be a bit sobering, it's certainly not a focal point of the film, and perhaps one the director didn't even intend to make; this is supposed to be a fun romp for the viewer, and it certainly succeeds in that regard.
