By real situations I mean things that are either somehow connected with contemporary culture ("Local Idiot To Post Comment On Internet) or involve real-life celebrities (see the above article).
I read an Onion article a couple weeks ago about how "Everything in America is Taking Too Long." It was quite amusing.
I liked one they did a while back after a Slam Dunk challenge about a player jumping over another player in real life situations to celebrate his doing so in the game. They tend to be pretty funny.
Apparently, the MPAA has deemed Up worthy of a PG rating. Oh man, am I pumped!
Same here, but even more for Transformers 2, opening night tickets! (hopefully)
There are some interesting films showing at Tribeca this year that I want to see sometime: Kirby !@#$'s documentary Outrage (about closeted anti-gay politicians), Pray the Devil Back to Hell (documentary about Liberia) and Whatever Works (Woody Allen directing, Larry David in the main role, woohoo).

I just saw the trailer for Moon, and I'm pumped.
Oh....My......God! That looks AMAZING! When does it come out?

I seriously think Micheal Bay is trying to make a bad movie, he failed last time and he's going all out this time... should be quite epic even though it looks like the love child of Transformers and National Treasure.
That trailer looks ridiculous. I can't believe you guys who go "WOW AMAZING" at trailers that look like a parody of themselves. 
I too, think it looks ridiculous. I think some directors are trying to get as much action as they can stuff into a movie at the minute.
Ewww, no. For me, eye candy is stuff like insanely sweeping shots of a river at dusk or timelapses of cities, not giant robots hurling stuff at the screen.
You should watch Koyaanisqatsi and Baraka and tell me what you think. Those two films are like the definition of eye candy for me. Baraka is available as a Blu-Ray disc that's been described as having the best quality of any DVD ever made. I was lucky enough to see it in 70mm a couple of months ago on a big screen, and that was pretty staggering.
