Finished my script!

Re: BiM 2009: STAR [CLOSED]

Sounds interesting and I could put a lot of effort on a three-minute film.
So I'm entering.

3.Not contain adult language, excessive violence or sexual themes.
Ouh, that´s bad for me. Actually I working on the Steinerei-Contest,
and this project/movie contains MANY adult violences.
Similar to that what "Bruce Willis" do in "Die Hard" (fu__, shi_, di__, motherf____, and so on....)
Basicly its a comedy.

Any chance?

Re: BiM 2009: STAR [CLOSED]

For me that's also a problem. I have a war sequence in my script that is very importnant.
Of coruse not Saving Private Ryan, but pretty gruesome.

There's war in mine too, but it's not going to be shown that harsh.

Re: BiM 2009: STAR [CLOSED]

There's a 5 second sequence in the middle of a war in my film, funnily enough, but all it is is to people appearing in a trench with soldiers marching by. And background war-fire noise.

Re: BiM 2009: STAR [CLOSED]

That's hardly 'excessive violence'. mini/wink

Excessive violence would have blood everywhere and limbs being torn off and screaming and general gruesomeness.

Blood.... meh

I wasn't saying it was excessive violence, I just said it's funny because I had a war scene too, and told everyone that it wouldn't be excessive, just in case they got curious about it.

Swearing is acceptable with beeps over the bad bits, yeah?

I guess you could enter it in STAR if you submitted a censored version (with beeps). Of course then we would all want to see the uncensored film afterwards!

I have an idea that has been floating around in my head for a while, and it fits this perfectly. Now I just need the time and motivation... mini/lol

Please could you tell me how to send a private message in the BiM forums.

I think you have IE7 (internet explorer 7).
The tool bar isn't there where it should be in that explorer.
Just do this when you logged in:
Go to the forums, and type www.bricksinmotion.com/forums/pun_pm/
You'll see yourself what to do next

I think we could put "hell," or "da**," if it fits the context, but not what you want to put in your film.

Re: BiM 2009: STAR [CLOSED]

Does shooting(no blood or anything) count as excsessive violence? I really do not hope so.

Re: BiM 2009: STAR [CLOSED]

That would probably be OK as long as it's not all over the place, frozen brick.

Regarding mario72's question: Sorry, that would really be too far over the line for this contest, we're trying to keep these films suitable for a general audience since this is an official contest.  At least you'll have Steinerei.

Second draft of the script done. It's a lot different and has much better structure, but still needs some work.
