Smeagol, my film isn't gonna be that colour full.
We (my brother and I) are going to show the problems of east berlin after WWII.
We are going to make a film that's about the characters, and not the action. Still there will a scene where a man get's beaten up by some Wall-Guards. Does this count as excessive violence or is this suitable enough.
Remember, this is not an action film like all my others.
Yeah...that sounds fine to me. Some violence is OK, we're just trying to avoid lots of blood and gore.
I wrote my script and put so much work into in, only to find that it is 9 pages long! 
Is that a bad thing?
9 pages is quite a lot.
Unless it's in size 72 font, in which case you might want to change that.
Mine's four pages now, so I don't know how long it is gonna be before I cross that line.
Perhaps you guys are just concerned about the length of your scripts because of the amount of time you'll have to make it...but there is no longer any maximum running time restriction on the films.
okay my script is 5 pages (but that is written not typed) typed it would probably only be like 2...and i have a pretty good idea about all the shots and stuff...so far i haven't planned any violence, but if i do it will not be near the excessive line! maybe an interrogater hitting a prisoner
this is coming along great!!!! oh and btw there is a casting call for mine in the audio section of the forums

Finaly done with the script. It is about 6 pages long with dilogues ang all.
Sounds like a good deal. I'll do my best to enter.

Don't worry. It's good if you haven't started yet. Let the idea develop a bit. There's no need to just dive in straight away.
I'll start next week when all my coursework is done.
