Re: Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

Well, the world premiere happened last night which means there are now people who want to spoil this film for everyone else on the internet. I almost found myself looking at the opening crawl on facebook before hastily scrolling by it (that was a close one mini/sweat ). So I have now completely left social media and any news sites until I see the film for myself in less than two days.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

Yeah, I'm probably gonna give up the internet until I see it (The  18th)

I do not brickfilm anymore, but you can see my live action stuff here.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

I get to see it in 9 hours.... thank you having it on the 17th in australia.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

Time we all disconnect from the Internet to avoid spoilers.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

That doesn't sound worth it. I think I'll wait a week or two. Or three.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

There was no line for the midnight screening at my local cinema last night, and both screens combined sold about 90% of their seats off.

It's Star Wars.  Not only is it worthy of waiting hours in line for, it's mandatory.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

Just got back from the theatre. I can't quite put my excitement into words. Watching The Force Awakens was such a surreal experience and honestly one of the best times I've ever had watching a movie. Not giving anything away, the Star Wars that we all love and care about is back mini/smile

Re: Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

Just got back myself.
Great movie.
Go watch it now.

Had a lot of fantastic moments, a couple of nice twists, and payed plenty of homage to the originals. Many of the scenes are out-of-this-world in the level of awesome entertainment, and strongly display the love and awareness of the producers for both the story, as well as the hordes of fans watching it.

The theater also had a fun, expectant atmosphere that lead to clapping not only as the opening scroll began, but also every time an original character first appeared. (Well, except Leia...Which was a bit hilarious.) A great experience, despite my being on the second row and off to one side. Saw it with five friends, which made the event just that much better.

Spoiler (click to read)

Mine stopped clapping towards the end.  I don't blame them.
