Cool. Maybe I can enter but I don't know.
Yeah, good idea NoodleBrick.
The deadline is extended to the 17th.
Here is my effort - I was aiming for something all shot frame by frame in camera with no special effects - It looked better in my head!

Thanks for the entry!
That's very good NoodleBrick - I think you could be heading for a win.
Well Dave and NoodleBrick, thanks for entering.
The winner is NoodleBrick! Dave, I liked your entry, but I think the inflation needed a few more frames because as is, it is a bit quick.
The new theme is jumping over a gap the charicter should jump, dive, flip, roll... over a gap of some kind. Masking is aloud but not necessary. This is a pretty simple theme, hope to see lots of entrys. The deadline is the 24th of August

Pretty good, but why didn't you use masking?
Here is my entry

I was going to make a little short, but I wouldn't have finished it in time. I probably will finish the short soon.
Here is my entry - I rotated the set to create a "bullet time" effect - I realised after I shot it and broke down my set up that I should have captured a background frame without rigging of each set rotation as the masking was impossible to get right - Anyway, I still quite like how it turned out.
All in all, I'm pretty happy with it. Unfortunately, I failed to give my character enough room to run prior to jumping. Thus, the takeoff looks rather unrealistic, IMO. Then again, maybe she's just on a planet with lower gravity than earth's...
