Re: Café Corner
I tried to sign up to Brickfilms.com earlier today, but it wouldn't let me for some reason. I kept typing in my name, e-mail address etc, and every time I clicked the register button, nothing would happen. Can anyone help?

We're getting a movie on this.
Why?
A Pez movie? about what? What's gonna happen?
Are you referring to these?

Some of the links work, it seems the others were never uploaded to the new server when the site was transferred over...
I am. Although, I was hoping to retrieve the sounds that have a broken link.

William, there is no need to quote your post again, we see the first one.
But to answer your question, the register button is broken. You have to click Sign In then click Register. It'll take you to this page: http://brickfilms.com/register/
As for the sound library, I'm afraid that the other files aren't even on the server (at least, not in the Wordpress portion). Archive.org doesn't have them either.

There's no real need to join Brickfilms.com; it is a ghost town. The community on BiM used to be there until some bad stuff went down, resulting in a new site being made and a mass exodus, so BiM is basically a continuation of Brickfilms.com.
Willow Tree, I should have some of the old Brickfilms.com sounds and music tracks on my old hard drive. I'll see what I can get in a few days and send it along.
I registered now like you said, rioforce, but when I try to login it claims that my password is wrong. I'm not going to bother any more. It sounds like from what you said, sillypenta, that it isn't fantastic anymore, anyway.

Awesome! Thanks, sillypenta. I appreciate it ![]()
I've just registered for redddit. Do any of you guys use it, and if so, what do you think of it?
I use Reddit.
It's pretty good for casual use, but there's a weird "community" to that site that really starts to get on your nerves if you get too involved.
Do you think it's an effective way for boosting YouTube views?
What do you think are great ways to boost views? I mean, of course this is pretty good, but other than this ![]()
And if all of that doesn't work, I'll kidnap people, tie them to a chair and make them watch my films!

Willow Tree, I found how to get a list of all of the old Sound Library files that were archived on Archive.org:
Well, you could make your thumbnails less than tasteful, in the manner of CRACKED.com's articles and the like. But honestly, the best way to get views is to make good videos with the appropriate tags. People know what they want, so make sure they can find it.
Yeah, I suppose you're right. This has been great though, I must say. I've now gained pretty much rubble the lifetime views in the two weeks I've been here and gained 5 subscribers, which is a big deal to me. Blimey, look at the time. It's half past twelve to us Britts. I'd better catch some sleep. Good night all!

No but seriously! Keep focused on improving your films and focus on telling good stories with great animation. Don't keep thinking about the views, if you focus too much on the views you will neglect your film making skills and if you do that you won't have any views. Views come from quality work.
One more thing before I go to bed - I agree. And besides, as long as all you good folks of Bim enjoy my films, that's good enough to me ![]()
