Please continue to comment on Squid's drawing. I'm just going to go ahead and post a couple of mine.

I drew this drawing yesterday. It is a human version of Princess Storm (You can see the reference minifig here).

I first sketched it out on paper, then traced over it in Inkscape, fixing errors and cleaning it up.

I drew the following picture today. This is based off Brickcrazy's Vega Zyro character from his upcoming brickfilm. (You can see the reference here). I did take many creative liberties, though, so it's not really too accurate to the minifigure.

The Princess Storm picture is my first fairly-good human drawing (I have only drawn a couple of other humans, and they were terrible), so these are still a bit rough. All comments and critiques are welcome!

Squid, I like your drawing. It has a nice, fairy-tail feel to it. Also, his eyes look fine to me.

Rioforce, I like your style of drawing. As I pointed out yesterday, it's very different from mine. They have a nice, cartoon drawing feel to them.

Recently, rioforce's work with vectors inspired me to try my hand at it. Here is my own human version of Vega Zyro, a young, cocky galactic bounty hunter and star of my upcoming brickfilm. Created in Inkscape using the same process as described by rioforce. While closer to the original minifigure's design, I too took a few creative liberties. This is actually my first attempt at trying to draw an actual person. Also, it's only my second vector drawing. Comments and constructive criticism are both more than welcome.

Since this is not a brickfilm movie poster, this seemed like the most logical place to post this. Working on this character poster as both a promotion for my upcoming action short and as a portfolio project for my digital imaging class. Would appreciate some thoughtful critique.

Your poster looks as professional as any one hanging in a movie theater. I like the logos (free tech and Reno3). People often overlook the significance of a good logo, and yours is efficient and lends itself nicely to the monochromatic color scheme. I'm wondering if you "eye droppered" an actual red pixel from the jacket for the logo's color.
