Re: Drawings and other Art
Neat mosaic dew. I'm curious as to why you've surrounded it with grille pieces, kind of gives it an industrial graffiti feel.
Thanks! No reason, really. Just going for something different.

That's cool! I LOVE Dig Dug.
There is a local boy with autism who made a pixel-by-pixel recreation of Super Mario Bros 1 Mario. He made it from memory!
Those are amazing, nswihart! Are they both pen and ink?
Fantastic work nswihart
Thank you!
The self-portrait is pencil. I used a wide variety of leads to draw it.
The batman comission is ink.
and this one is ink pen, colored pencil, and marker.
This is kind of a quick sketch I drew about 8 years ago. It was for a comic book I was writing, that became the script to Mariana, which another brickfilmer is animating. It's a quick sketch, but it did convey the look I wanted. I can't get the IMG function to work on this one so you'll have to click the link.

Mariana was supposed to look about 15 in the comic.

Here is a drawing that I did for an art class. This is the villain from a superhero/villain picture.
Mason: Great job on those eyes.
I like the head-it's my favorite part of the drawing riv. I also like his back-up plan. Should the gun fail he's got a grenade ready to go.

I posted a link but not this picture is on tumblr, where I can directly limk to this.

The side one is significantly better than the frontal view. The frontal view doesn't have much symmetry, which feels a little bit off.
I drew another thing from Riigo-Faloo:
This wasn't a specific character but I was just testing out ideas for costume designs. I kinda like this one so I'll probably give it to a specific character some time.
Also, not done by me is Wilson's castle portrait from Welcome to Darkmoor:
Although I didn't draw it myself, most of the credit goes to Wilson, I did create a the original photograph he used to create the image.
He also did a really rad one of Basil the Batlord, but I have yet to take a good picture of it. We have a tiny little wooden easel which would do quite nicely.
Each of the paintings are meant to be hung in the shop from Welcome to Darkmoor, which had empty frames before.
I like the portrait. It looks really good, can't wait to see it in action.
Anyway:
"My good man, did you simply get carried away with your dramatic gesture, or are you pointing your weapon at me with lethal intention?"
Dr King Schultz of Django Unchained, as portrayed by the inimitable Christoph Waltz.
Alternative title is "I need more practice drawing hands".

The moustache and surrounding area on our left is a bit off-kilter, but a nice rendering nonetheless.
Did up this pixel art medal in a couple of sizes a little while ago for a game currently in production.
Looks really Nintendo-Era. Very good.
I like that the image works both at small and large scale. it's very consistent.
I like the medals. Pixel art is something that I to enjoy.
I also like how the color palette is limited. If anyone is into Atari, I created a picture file for photoshop & other programs that is a complete, historially correct Atari color palette. I can post it if anyone is interested in creating Atari graphics.
