Thanks!
That set looks familiar (https://vimeo.com/97069358)
I have actually changed the set quite a bit, it just didn't fit within 1920x1080 pixels.
It now has some plants growing inside it, the painting is higher (I've given up the idea of making a soldier throw a sword at it ) and I took down a part of the wall.
It isn't in a cave, it just started out as a set for remaking the Rookie Cook video I made for THAC.
As for the landscaping, I don't have nearly as many bricks as I would like it to have (I've barely finished this one wall)
I'll take all the shots I need from one angle, and then take down a bit of the wall and rebuild it somewhere else.
Thanks,
Bataton.
I have posted a photo of the set above.

I really like the picture on the wall!
I built a city street. It's easily the largest set I've ever made thus far.
I guess it's a bit late for "critique" as such since I've actually finished animating everything, but I thought I might as well post a picture before dismantling it.
Very nice. I love the grey building on the left with the yellow and green eye. Also, the alleyway with the brown and grey brick pieces is quite spiffing.
P.S. Is that a reference to Citizen of the Year I see?
Is the eye part of the story? That whole building is kind of mesmerising to look at.
I love the addition of the billboard, and the arched alleyway entrance.
I like it, it feels very LEGO, like a bunch of stuff mashed together in someone's imagination; and the level of detail is quite nice.
There's a great thread for just showing off the frame without qritiquing it... "Show Off A Frame". It's in the General Film Discussion section. Awesome artwork on your city, Vertigo!
I've see bits and pieces of this set from your Twitter, and I have to say, it looks fantastic. Can't wait to see it in action.
@HOO, the "Show off a Frame" thread is for completed frames, not for sets and props. The picture Vertigo posted is a set, not a final frame.
That's such a good set. I like how all of the buildings are clearly of slightly different design. It gives it a more realistic feel.
houw about this, take that thing out of the cyclinders, put cling wrap and some 1x1 transparent's in it, and move (the innars) each frame(with lighting hitting it), itd be SICK! otherwise, COOL!
Way cool!

Thanks, but how could I use cling wrap? I don't quite understand what you mean.
And one thing that may not be obvious is that I've got the whole cylinder hooked up to a motor spinning (for a blur effect).
cling/clear wrap, what ever they call it where you are from, put it inside it, all crunched up, then with the motor spinning, it'd look AWESOME! give it a go, just balls of cling wrap...

Hmm, I'll give it a try.
I do not own a black dome piece. Do you think a 2x2 round plate would work better? Using a 1x1 brick seems too small; if it were a real life object it would fall because the base is smaller than the bulb at the top.
