Here's a basement I made. More pics will be posted soon on my tumblr page.

HOO, I don't know exactly what kind of basement you were going for, but when I saw it, it reminded me of an oldish (probably water damaged and moldy) basement that would not be a good living space. I felt this way mainly because of the green carpet and flat gray walls. I think it is done well, but I don't know if that is what you were going for.
to me, they strike me as a war vet. the flag, old looking radio, and the shuttle picture.
Rivvm, actually, between the time I shot this picture and the time i posted it to tumblr, I actually changed the floor to a white baseplate! This basement is based on the basement in "Everybody Loves Raymond", keeping with my tradition of basing the rooms in the Schneider home on the rooms in that show. The pink object on the left is a bottle of Pepto-Bismol, seen in a season 1 episode of Raymond.
Looks nice Holding like that ladder in the corner. Heres a small scale town Im making for my easter entry.
Awesome! I love that Micro-Scale!
Thanks.
Looks cool, Osom! I always love seeing micro-scale sets.
Here's a set for a film I just began production on. Still a WIP, but I figured I might as well post it here anyway.
P.S. Despite appearances, this film has nothing to do with Rock Raiders (sorry )

Really excellent use of teal there. That's a horribly rare colour. Yet here you've managed to implement it into the set quite nicely and use a relatively large amount of it.
I also commend you for putting a pattern on the floor. Albeit simple, it's rare in brickfilms to see details incorporated into the floor. More oft than not it's just one solid colour (my own films included).
Ooh, I love that color. I envy how much you have (as opposed to the none that I own).
I really love the design of the set, it looks very nice. I especially like the presence of different colors on the floor.
Brickcrazy, that is crazy good. Squid's already pointed out how rare a colour that blue is (I've only seen it in some 2001 Bionicle sets and a couple of Friends sets) and you've used it extremely well. Everything in this is very sleek and thematically organised.
I love the door, especially the use of the wedges; I hope we get to see that open and close.
Great set... teal & gray go so well together! Wish teal was easier to find. Gotta sift them out of rock raiders sets, I guess!
was the orange kitchen a good choice? Thoughts?
I think it's good. I have a friend who has a very orange kitchen.
Also, on a side note, I hope you clean that blue chain before filming.
do you mean clean the blue chair? I doubt it will even ever be in focus, the second shot is my cell phone camera so the focus is pretty deep, but I'll give it a scrub just for you.
From the angle in the first post I thought the chair was quite long-like a chaise lounge chair. I realized only after I decided to post that it was a coffee table lining up in the shot. I really like the set -it is sparse but the small accents give it a lot of life. The light from the cut out where you can see the kitchen gives that much more depth (with the shadow under the cabinets and the slightly open cupboard). The orange doesn't feel like ORANGE because the color is subdued by the surroundings.
This is a really nice set. Just squish those bricks above the genie lamp real tight together and you're good to go.
Jared
I really love this set!
