It all looks so bright and colourful. Nice.
I'd make the out of focus flowers a bit bigger. The difference in size from the ones behind it isnt that great, and the depth of field in the rest of the scene isnt very shallow so it looks weird. Other than that, it looks cool.
i find it odd how all the digital flowers are all more or less facing the camera

Not only is the image much more pleasing, but my lighting and camera stability issues are dramatically reduced!
Nice frame. They actually look like they're kissing in the second one.
The quality of the frame isn't too much different, except the the obvious brightness and the not-so-obvious depth of field change. I do like how the second one is sharper though, that's nice. But, I hope that's not the resolution your film is in, because that's really small.
Hey, thanks Rio! I did get Brent's arms lower, as if slow dancing. Rio, you'll be pleased to know that the frames in the actual brickfilm will be in 1080p. When I post on BiM, I post smaller pix so it's easier to see and read with the text. If you ARE interested in seeing larger versions of any pictures I post, you can visit my tumblr page (link in signature file), and any of the images without entires are clickable for a larger view. All my pictures are part of entries, but all entries are always followed by clickable duplicates.
Did Angela's arm crack between those 2 shots?
Good question. No. I don't know ho long it's been cracked. It has been a long time. The angle of the first shot conceals the break.
I don't have a problem using well-used Lego parts. Wait until you see the face on the Acme cashier in episode 3. But you made me consider things. Angela does deserve a new arm.
From my film, EXPANSE.
One of my favorite shots I was able to get when I produced this. Used one lamp to light the set, so I could get some nice deep shadows. Threw in some fake blood gel and gave the entire scene a slight reddish tint in post production.
I really like the use of wallpaper, it's an interesting detail that makes it look significantly more interesting. The black bars and shallow focus give it a very cinematic effect.

This is not a frame of footage that will appear in the film, however, it is still a "finished frame" of sorts which will be framed within a frame of a finished film.
The portrait makes an excellent prop. And I think it's really interesting how much detail he was able to get in there considering the scale.
Dude, that looks awesome. The work effort clearly shows! I can't draw that tiny photos that well, or detailed.

@Squid, The detail on that piece is simply amazing. Great frame as well.
@funmi, Too much floor in my opinion, and it feels like everything should be centered a bit better. I do like that blue light in the background!
I've got three scenes from Black Panther: The Golden Vibranium animated, but there's still quite a way for me to go before I'm done with this one. Productions going to slow down quite a bit over March and early April; I'm going home for the Easter holidays and won't have most of my Lego or animation equipment, so I'll likely work on another BIONICLE project during that time.
Anyway, here's a quick frame of T'Challa, the Black Panther himself. The location is his high-tech palace in Wakanda.
Bit of a weird way to show off a frame, but I thought I'd show some of how I work in After Effects too.

With a frame like that I would be happy too!
