I, actually, am in the minority of people who like ForrestFire101's work. He really had his own wacky sense of humor, and wasn't afraid to show it. And, he is a prime example of how much, and how quickly brickfilmers can change over time. Just look at some of his first videos, and then go to his last...

People like Nathan Wells and Doug Vandegrift are just too perfect, as, most of their first films could already compete with seasoned brickfilming veterans of the time. ForrestFire101's more of an "everyman," just with a potty-mouth.

My problem is when people start copying his style. Really, I hate it when anyone copies anyone else. The infinite multitude of Star Wars brickfilms are perfect examples. - The original films are awesome masterpieces, but, when Jimmy down the street makes his 19th fanfilm with the same plastic bricks... it can start to get annoying.

However, aside from the several jokes that did seem a little more ForrestFire101-esque, your film was one of my favorites. I'd love to see more of your films, sometime.

I would have, personally, made the whole project in Black and White in Sony Vegas. (what I use, but, has practically the same B&W capabilities that windows movie maker has) I had gotten pretty quick at it, actually, having done so many effects-heavy editing for other brickfilmers a few years ago. However, it's a bit ironic that I mention this now, as, I currently use Helium Frog, and the only way to retrieve the original frames from it is very difficult for me...

But, yeah, I would have made the whole thing the desired monotone colors, and then, would have edited the frames with the

one at a time, synching them back in with the rest of the animation later...
