I like it.
It is a grey lego 2x4 brick on a simple gradient background with some slightly stylised text. It serves it's purpose, I suppose, but as far as creativity goes, not so much.
I see what you mean. But I was going for a little "plain" look, if you know what I mean. heh heh heh
Thanks for the comments.
I like it, you say plain brick, and here, thats a plain brick. me likey.

Here's the logo I plan on using for my future videos.
Let me know what you guys think
I suppose I'm rather late in posting, but your logo is looking nice, Drannion. I'm not exactly sure what the symbol is meant to be, but I like it. It's very minimalistic yet pleasing to the eye. However, I would recommend changing the colour of the writing to black, as the white doesn't really fit in with the rest of the logo in my opinion.
Anyway, I've finally gotten round to working on a logo for myself and this is what I've come up with so far:
Its rather simple but I'm overall pleased with how it's come out given my inexperience with photo-editing programs. I'm not entirely sure about the font, it looks rather too gothic and pointy than what I had in mind. But let me know what you think!
Also, the background isn't necessarily meant to be so dark. I edited it with a transparent background colour, and when I uploaded it to flickr it added that dark background fill for some reason.

Here's my logo:
What do you think?
Sorry, but what are the things on either side of the A? Otherwise I think it looks pretty good.
Oh, they're supposed to be clouds, but some of them didn't turn out so well (the one on the right is probably the best in my opinion). In the end I took them off for my animated version of the logo (you can see it at the end of my first film, Brickfilming Fiction: http://www.bricksinmotion.com/films/view/5772/)
Are the clouds supposed to be white? If so the white balance is way off. Also, I'd say you'd do well to replace the grill piece with a tile, it looks very out of place and feels very contrary to the smooth feel of the cloud on the other side. I like the A and the use of top down bricks to make a logo.
I guess I should post my LOGO on here sometime as well, and see what others think of it!
And, for the openings of my films:
As most Beatles fans should be able to tell, it is heavily inspired by the U.S. Editions of the Magical Mystery Tour Album. I think this perfectly fits within the kind of direction my films will be taking, (happier, light-hearted, "magical") and also just looks cool. I'm hoping it will attract fellow Beatles fans, and will look really flashy for the kids who love watching more PG-ish brickfilms.
Looking through the other logos that have been posted on this forum, I'm glad to see mine sticks out! Though, that may be just because of the lack of a "logo shape" and the presence of a lot of bright colors!
That is a rather colorful logo, Dyland... Even though I must say I'm not a fan of the Beatles
How can anybody not be a fan of the Beatles!? Shame on you, sir!
I guess someone's buying Justin Bieber's albums, so. JK
Anyway, thanks for replying. I'm glad you liked how I arranged my logo for what I'm gonna use it for, however, now I just need to find a way to "darken" it, in case I make a Batman brickfilm.
WITH MY DARK PAGAN INCANTATION I RAISE THEE THREAD FROM THE GRAVE! GO! WALK THE EARTH! REEK HAVOC! WHATEVER!
I just wanted to post in here to see if I could get any tips or suggestions on what I could do to enhance my logo and make it better and overall more pleasing to the eye. I updated it at the beginning of the summer, but I still feel like I can make it better than it is now:
Thoughts? Any help would be appreciated! Really anything that stands out to you that could be improved would be great!
I think it looks good....What is it? Maybe adding your studio name on the bottom would be nice.
My logo looks very MS paint-y. I think I'll redesign soon. Although I have grown fond of it.
