Re: Post your logo here!

Okay, here are a couple more. I'm not quite sure what you were suggesting for beveling, Carousel, did I do sort of what you were proposing?

With grey letters:

With green letters:

I can always recolor the letters to plain white, but I kind of like the grey and green better. And just as a note for myself, I need to fix the point of the arrowhead.

I like this one better, way better.

Having the projectile point pointed up just makes it too tall.

Re: Post your logo here!

Hm, you have a point, Squid. Here's basically what I did above just sideways, I don't like that fancy font since being warped makes it look backwards.

Re: Post your logo here!

I have to say, I like that version the best so far. mini/smile

Re: Post your logo here!

Instead of beveling, just split the arrowhead from the tip down the middle, and make the left side slightly lighter than the right side.  This will give it some depth.

Re: Post your logo here!

I still prefer the more fancy letters.  The other font makes it look fat, and it's a little bit too in-your-face.
The slightly more fancy looking font seems to befit an arrowhead much more somehow.

Re: Post your logo here!

Hm, I kind of like it that way, too. I didn't like it the first time I had the fancy lettering since it looked like the text was mirrored. I figured out that it looked that way because it WAS mirrored. I was warping the text the wrong way, so it got flipped for some reason. I also changed the bevel to go straight down the middle of the arrowhead (thanks Holding) and it does look a lot better now.

Re: Post your logo here!

I must say that looks quite nice. mini/smile The one thing that bugs me is that the middle of the "M" goes across the center line slightly. For some reason that's the only thing that keeps drawing my attention. Apart from that, I  must say that the font looks nice this way (on it's side). Especially with the "W" curving back at the front. It gives a little more depth. Good job. mini/sunnies

Re: Post your logo here!

I'd say white or a more subdued color for the lettering over the green, I think it's too bright, and just feels off. Other than that I really like it. mini/smile

Re: Post your logo here!

Okay, here is a toned down version of the green, and one with white lettering. I am liking this logo more and more every time I update it.

Re: Post your logo here!

I like the white and grey, if feels more clean and professional. mini/smile

Re: Post your logo here!

I kind of like the white and grey, too, but it seems a bit bland to me. That's why I favor the green. Is there a better shade of green you would suggest?

Now I'm not saying your wrong, but I would tend to disagree with you. bland=modern, modern=professional. IMO

It's not really a logo only for my brickfilms, but in general for the film-group-collective-thing I work on with a couple of friends: ShiftyPotatoes Logo

Plus having the arrow pointing up guides the eyes of the people looking at the logo from the bottom of the logo to the top reading it in the wrong order. The sideways arrows definitely work better! The serif font works well, though perhaps the letters need to carry slightly more weight to them? The kerning and perspective are very effective though mini/bigsmile

Re: Post your logo here!

Thanks, Driver. I agree, maybe I should try bolding the letters.

Halfbrick, I like it. There is a slight dark outline to the potatoes, though, maybe you could try reducing that. Also I'm not sure if I like the bright spots or not, it might look better if you have it just one solid color.

Hey guys!

I see plenty of talented fellas in here and I thought maybe someone could help me out and design an opening Logo for a my film production group?

We are called "Mis Amigos" "My Friends" is the English translation mini/smile the group has two guys and two gals, personally I'd like to see cartoon'ish characters smiling or waving (not necessarily animated) but I'd love to see anything you can come up with mini/wink

I'd be really thankful to you!

What do you guys think? This is used for my YT channel banner (That's the reason there's a bunch of empty space).

Re: Post your logo here!

It is a grey lego 2x4 brick on a simple gradient background with some slightly stylised text. It serves it's purpose, I suppose, but as far as creativity goes, not so much.
