Beautiful! Love the bright colors, the big brick letters, the silky-smooth lack of studs, and the character/costume design.
Thanks guys!
Now that I have your attention, I'll accidently and discreetly let slip that it's part of my contribution to the '12 Joys of Brickfilming' project. ![]()
The oscars or something like that?
I hope to see the film soon!
PRetty nice brickstory... I like how the colors are slightly more pleasant to look at than they tend to be when used as backgrounds. Something made them a bit softer...
That's my new desktop, Jampot. Thankyou.
This frame made my day, Jampot. His facial expression is just so perfect.
When will you be releasing this film?
*BAAAAT MAAAAN SPOOOOFS!*
Yes indeed!
That's my new desktop, Jampot. Thankyou.
No problem. I'm touched you like it that much
it's my desktop too.
I'm actually tempted to make a whole video out of this.

Seeing that it was posted in the "Frame from your upcoming film" thread I assumed and was hoping you already were making a whole video ![]()

Well, it's for my section of the 12 Joys of Brickfilming, but I mean that I kinda' want to do a longer, separate animation as well. Not sure how I could sustain it for more than 3 seconds, though...
Ahhh ok. Gotcha. Well 3 seconds of Batman rocking out on an electric guitar with a pink lightning bolt is infinitely better than 0 seconds.
...for more than 3 seconds, though...
I'm doing my part for the collaboration, and I did a test at 4 seconds, and I feel it is too short. So I have planned to do my scene for 4.5-5.5 seconds long.
I don't think it's really that much of a worry. Brickelodeon sent out a link to a version of 12 days of Christmas on YouTube to show everyone the pace and get everyone roughly in sync, so as long as you fit to that you should be fine.
Coming tomorrow.

Its total length is four minutes and one second.
I let Walter and Soppenjim watch some unfinished edits for feedback and suggestions for slight alterations, and according to the latter it is my best film yet.
It's currently 100% done and just waiting to be uploaded.
(I really wanted it to come out on Saint Patrick's Day, so I'm just waiting a tiny bit longer)
It should be up on YouTube in the morning.
This should make us Irish people happy Squid; I'm counting on you!
An Irishman, a Frenchman and a German walk into a bar.
The barman says:
Is this an Annoying Noises brickfilm?
I am so pumped for this. My eyes are primed.
Awesome Squid! I'll keep an eye out for it. Here is something I'm working on:
