108. Moral absolutes. If your film addresses a big topic, it's far more interesting to see deliberation in the film regarding this. If the film just says it then it will risk becoming "preachy," like HoldingOurOwn said in that topic about the LEgo movie. This also applies to characters. Don't make your characters so one dimensional that they are just a good guy or a bad guy or any of those tropes really.
109. animation quality compromised at the expense of keeping the film "purist." I mean I understand that some people do not want to modify legos in their film but like seriously avoid situations in your film in which you would need to modify a part instead of doing a half-assed version. The one big example I can think of is cutting vegetables
110: When a 9 year old voice acts for a big, tough character. I know sometimes that there isnt any other option, but it's still annoying.
111: Fiery explosions.
Yes, sometimes they make sense (say if a barrel of of gasoline blows up), but please, don't paste a gasoline explosion over a supposedly exploding grenade
112: Brickfilms made by sick people.
I'm not sure if it is only me, but when I'm sick, I'm tired and wierd. And being tired and weird makes me make wierd scripts and choppy lazy animation. I am sick right now and I just made a terrible animated it and then did the voices. I was about to upload it, the I was like, "What the crap am I doing?" Here is the script:
A LOL Short - eligent class
Man
(Fart)
teacher
NO NO! YOU MUST NOT FART!
eligent montage with mixeture of eligent music and hard rock.
2 days later

I know there are many typos, this is because I wrote this in less then a minute, and I am tired.
OH MY GOD PLEASE POST THAT IT SOUNDS HILARIOUS
hey I thought of another
113. when people change the speed/pitch of their voice to make it sound deeper or older or like a female or whatever. Just... no. Unless it's being done in the name of irony; in that case go for it!
114. Animations made primarily with a default editor like WMM. I don't mind if you use WMM to edit the animation, but don't use it as a way to organize frames. There are free programs for that like HeliumFrog, MonkeyJam, etc.
115. Non-building block type things used in sets. (Like having a real background picture instead of it being brick-built) If it's pulled off correctly it could look fine, it's just a personal pet peeve of mine.

The animation is so choppy it will melt your eyeballs.
116 Legos and mega blocks mixed in the same set.
117 Crude humor.

And that's exactly why I set all my pre-THAC X films to private.
I don't know if it's been said before (and I apologize if it has).
118. Overuse of visual effects.
And to follow up on that
119. Particle effects that don't have any depth and look like they are just laid on top of the clip. Star Wars films are particularly guilty of this.

I agree, lasers made in paint or inkscape look better than high quality movie effects.
117 Crude humor.
Sounds like you're just mad at the world.
