It's not a set per se, but I'm thinking about getting this head for a Joker minifig:
I really like the expression and eyes, but I'm not entirely sure because the lips are grey rather than red and the large eyes might look a bit weird next to "normal" minifigs. Any thoughts?
Don't do it.

And also, finally, a male character!
The new Lord of the Rings sets have come out, but apparently not in the UK...does anyone know when they will come out in the UK? I really, really, really want these two:

The toy store I work at sells them, but it's in the USA
They literally just spontaneously came out a couple of weeks ago. I already have the Wizard Battle, but I bought that in Germany. Just Rivendell to go!
These 2 sets were available in the US since May. Ironically, I 1st found them at the lego store (a 1 3/4 hr drive) on my day off. I returned the next day to work and we had them in stock!
That Gimli Catapult is a joke.
El bumpo, but I need an opinion.
This comes with 14 gold bricks and a bunch of tan ones and stuff. Is it worth the money for the gold bricks? I want them for an animation, but is it worth spending the money just to get 14 gold coloured bricks?
There not actually all gold. Some are BROWN

I know. I've done my homework. I was just asking if people think it's worth the money.
It depends on how many you want the gold bricks.
Gold bricks are pretty cool.
Yeah, they are, and they're really hard to come by. I always loved collecting them in LEGO Racers 2, and if you got enough of them you could go to the next world without completing all of the races
I had this idea that in the BFCU, they could be magical. There could then be this multi-story plot around them, like with the Tesseract in the Avengers movies, but obviously it might be difficult since not everyone will have a gold brick to use.
14 is a good solid number though. I'll have to wait and see if I can make some more money soon.

Yes, unless your stupid PS2 starts screwing up and literally shuts down every time you try to fly to the artic world using the gold bricks you have worked hard to save up! DARN YOU PLAYSATION!!!!
Just about any of the "HQ" sets.
Specifically:
And what ever happened to the hospital set?
Also, for personal use, I want a train set and a bunch of rails.
Those HQ's are kind of a waste of money, as they're (most of the time), a wall with tons of decorations and minifigures.
Also:
THIS SET.

How do you have space for that? I'm slowly running out of room for my collection.
