I didn't say you were? Did you even read the first part of my message, we literally have NO REASON for another forum, and like I said, all we have gotten is told that they need more members before they "do" anything, which brings out an idea that they just want another brickfilm forum which in turn would compete with BIM since both are brickfilm forums.

Regardless if you say you aren't trying to compete you are. People are going to go to one forum or the other, and until a specific purpose and good reason to attempt to split the community more comes out, its just trying to be a new BIM.

I agree with silents. WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER FORUM. If brickfilming is dying, which I think it isn't, how in a billion years will two sites help? All I see on EUB is stuff we already have here on BiM. I don't know about all you people, but I'm staying right here on these forums only. You have good enthusiasm, but in my opinion, the only thing that will help brickfilming at this point, is for people to stop sitting around and make a good, enjoyable, film.

I do have to agree and say that two sites are totally unnecessary. It's better to centralize all the brickfilmers here instead of having them scattered amongst several sites. It's good to see some initiative from those who want to bring back brickfilming to its peak, but this is not the way to do it. If you wanna bring brickfilming back to what it was: go out and make a good film!

We do, but it really wasn't getting many people on. We're moving to a new host, which is Weebly, and an embedded forum, from Nabble. People also make fun of the name. People keep saying that we don't need two forums. Why didn't anyone do anything to the Brickfilmer's Guild when they made their forum? All I wanted to do was create a nice companion site to Bricks in Motion. The Brickity Split will be even better than the EUB. I hope you all understand. It will be practically the same, only it won't be just a forum. It will have featured films, news, and resources! Everyone will have a good time on the website. We even have our own Mibbit room now! The layout was bad on the FreeForums site, because we couldn't customize it freely. But now with masterlego helping, we're making a nice layout. So again, I hope everyone decides to join the Brickity Split.

because it isnt a direct copy of bricksinmotion.com??? it's p much a facebook for brickfilmers, the website you are stewing up is basically the exact same thing as bricksinmotion.com just named differently and differently designed

nobody has a problem with you really making the website, it's just strange that you're advertising it so heavily here when we already have everything on your website! there's not really much point to it!

Its because TBG is nothing like BIM, like he said its like a facebook for brickfilmers, and you still fail to answer MY questions, about how bringing people to your forum is going to fix anything. What are you going to do and how are you going to do it?

You get labeled as simply trying to copy because thats all your telling us, everything you said BIM is doing, and you still fail to tell us how the purpose of this forum is going to happen.

And if I had payed attention, I would have said the same for TGB but that had potential and was different.

Your site has no real value unless it's offering something BiM doesn't have. We're here on the biggest and most active brickfilming forum on the web and you're trying to give us a small and inactive one. Why in the world would we move?

The main things I feel BiM really lacks these days are thorough, well-developed film critiques and a good resources section. If you could give us those I'm sure you'd find an interested audience. But these things don't really merit a site of their own. Why not build onto the BiM resources and post proper reviews in the Releases forum? There's already a fine community here and keeping everything in one place would be more convenient as well.

If you want to "save brickfilming" you shouldn't be trying to split off from the community. Rather, stick with it, improve it, and give newcomers a better reason to stay.

It's pretty ironic that you called the website Earth's "United" Brickfilmers when, if anything, you're just dividing the community.

Honestly, we don't need another website.  You have nothing that isn't here on BiM, and BiM is by far a much more established website, so it's really quite pointless to make one.  Unless you have something different that will radically improve brickfilming to offer us, this is really just a waste of time (which could be spent actually making brickfilms...).  What will this website achieve?  And how will this "save" brickfilming, especially when we have this perfectly serviceable website right here with a sizeable community?  For that matter, who says brickfilming is dying in the first place?  It's a time-consuming hobby, and a lot of us have very busy lives, so there are bound to be periods of inactivity from time to time.  If you want to help make brickfilming more popular, make quality films, be active here on the forums, spread the word, and welcome newcomers.  Making a different website that has nothing new to offer isn't the way to go.
