We don't have as many members as 2011.
And here I am approving new accounts every day. I feel like such a fool!
Do I need to be a resident of Earth to participate, or are extraterrestrials welcome as well?

Everyone is allowed.
You do realize that you haven't told us where it is?
none of this makes any sense
good luck
I think it's somewhere on Earth.
:'(
Would you post a link, Zac? I'll check it out.
If we all gather in a circle and chant "We believe in Brickfilms!" will a portal to this mystical website appear?
Sorry. I posted this late last night and I was tired. I've edited the post and put a link to the site. It's not finished yet, so don't judge me. And this is NOT about competing with TheFourMonkeys or anything. It's about saving brickfilming. So, what? Who cares if it's like BFG? I hope you all understand. And, Max, your chanting worked.

I just joined. Great work here, I'll sure enjoy my time on these forums!
On the subject of BFG, I once was a member of that site. It was kinda "sleepy", in my opinion. It was hopping and alive, but it didn't have as much to offer as BiM does. But, EUB will be fun, I can already tell!
Thanks for your enthusiasm, Mickey. I remember when brickfilming was just for fun, and not a popularity contest. Then we could go on sites like this and talk to other brickfilmers and have fun. Then BFG came. That's when it became a popularity contest. Everyone was saying "Ooh! I have more subs than you!" It used to be "Yay! I got a sub!" "Cool!" Why did it turn into the hobby where everyone wants more subs than the other person? It's supposed to be fun.
I get what you're saying. But, I remember being confused at how someone with 1 FPS brickfilms could get more than 200 subscribers. But then, I quit that. I don't care about subscribers or YouTube anymore--that's why I'm on Vimeo now!
How will forming a new website do anything to "save" brickfilming when there are already loads of websites devoted to it?

True, and plus, BiM is the most active so far, it will be near impossible to beat it. The only way I can see is to come up with a more Youtube like site.
True. There are tons of "brickfilmers' forums" out there. And, I'm a member of a lot of them.
DAK101010, an inactive member of the site, and a friend, started a site called TheBrickZone. When I first joined, I didn't think it to last long. But, with it's 75+ members, it's doing very well!
I've already talked about BFG. It has quite a lot of members, and--despite my earlier post--it's going strong, with blogs and videos and everything. I wonder why I ever left the BFG in the first place. However, it's "Featured Members" column doesn't include me, so the BFG seems to have forgotten me, as I've forgotten them.
Then, there's Brickfilms.com. Yeah, I don't think I need to bring this up again. There's just no need.
Earth's United Brickfilms--while young, and with me and ZacharySplosh being the only two members, at the moment--will grow and grow. I believe it. I hope you guys will join, because we need all the members we can get!

I'm not sure how you're planning to make things better, but I have an extremely clever plan to help the brickfilm community:
1: Make brickfilms
It's a good idea. One doesn't really need some movement or a group, just make some good films.

This website is not to compete with BiM!
Darn I can't join, I'm not on earth. You should make this available to residents of the Kuiper belt.
Also brickfilming isn't dying, this site is. It's just way too quiet here. We need something to stir things up, like a nice murder. WAT
OK WHAT I WAS GOIINNG To say was well actually there are so many more good brickfilmers these days that seemingly came out of nowhere and who weren't around during your do called Golden Age. To me this seems a good sign. If more people can follow the example of cool dudes like ANP by just improving skills then maybe the site will get happier.
Which by saying that of course I'm a total hypocrite because I haven't brickfilmers In a w hile and last time i did it sucked and I'm just not really into it right now I'm more into writing and screenplays and music and stuff. BUT I'm not done with brickfilming foreveh though I don't wanna say dat
