I can understand the .AVI file corrupting, but shouldn't the individual frames be fine if you're exporting them and it crashes? Or can you actually lose all of your individual frames if it crashes?
The avi file didn't corrupt, I just had to find out where it was.
The frames would be perfectly fine even if HF crashed and the avi file corrupted, they're already written, exported and done. I don't think you can lose any frames once they've been captured and saved.
This could be bad news for me as well, because I will be using Helium Frog if I enter this year. Monkey Jam is impossible to animate in because of my screen resolution.
It's not a big deal, just locate the avi file, and hope that said scene was competed enough before it crashed. If not, then you won't have to re-film much. Although if you've got enough memory space, you may want to export the frames just in case.
