Is this another Gary and Julie film?

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?

Anything I can improve?

I feel like there is too much space above his head.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

NICE!
You may want to add something to the back wall several layers above the windows to break up all that blue. (A light bley stripe all along the wall would do the trick.) But other than that it looks pretty good.

Awesome!
The only issue I see is the one mentioned my Rsteenoven.

This is probably the most helpful thing you can look at to improve your cinematography skills.

This is called the 'rule of thirds'. here is the Wikipedia page for it.

So do you think if I put some posters on the walls that might improve it?

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Unless you want the wall to be the focus of the shot, it would make more sense to lower the camera.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

I personally think you should do both, to give the room more decoration and focus the shot on the character more.

2 Frames from my newest project. I actually animated these scenes tonight.

What do you think. Can you spot something cool in the second one?

There is a way to go into your camera settings and change it into that grid. I never knew what it meant, though.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

@Spider Nice! I like your house and road (you always make the best sets and props).

@LegoCloniac Oh wow, nice couch! The fig seems a tad bit out of focus though. The custom posters are a really nice addition.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Spider - Very nice! mini/smile  The only thing that looks a tad weird to me is the grey mountain piece in the upper right corner.

LegoCloniac - Looks pretty good (especially the posters (I am the Night)). The couch seems too large, though.
