My guess is that it's a frightened cat jumping out from behind some boxes in the attic. But, again, that's just a guess. mini/shifty

Here's a frame from my animation challenge entry. Hard to believe I'm actually animating something.

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

The picture looks pretty good, but the cat looks a tad out of focus mini/confused (unless that's motion blur you added).

It was a motion blur.

It's a tad out of focus mickey, but it's always hard to judge a whole film by a single frame...

Mickey got it pretty much right.

I'm pretty much done. But, I should probably run through a final edit and still gotta get the lines from my voice actors.

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

That frame looks better than the first one, due to it being in focus. However, the background could use a couple more trees/plants/etc. (if you have any).

Here is a frame from my upcoming film... it's about time.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

@RS, your minifigures get those annoying white specks on them too? Glad to know that mine aren't unique in that ability.

The frame is ok, but the white background is a little odd. It's like he's leaving the Haunted Forest and about to enter the "White Expanse of Doom." (Not that the forest looks haunted, it just sounded cool.) Something doesn't look quite right with only the minifigure in focus, but that's just my opinion. I recommend adding some more rocks to hide the white paper, and then some vegetation on the ground to make it more "Wild outdoors-y." Right now it almost seems like a city park with the evenly spaced (Or almost so) rocks, and nothing on the ground save a few tiny rocks. The LURP's could also do with some slopes on them to make it appear more like unhewn stone.

Sometimes when the clouds are right, the sky it white.

Well to tell you the truth, it was supposed to look more like a city park or a more neatly kept area. So that's a good thing that it looks like that. Also, whats a LURP? Are you talking about the mountain pieces? As far as the white sky goes, I kind of like it. It sort of has this ominous or strange feel to it which aids to this video. Once it's released you should be able to see what I'm talking about. Thanks for the in depth critique though!

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

I'm guessing LURP is for Large Ugly Rock Piece. People usually say Big Ugly Rock Piece, though.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

LURP is Little Ugly Rock Piece

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Golden got it. And for clarification, is a BURP, and this is a LURP.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Also, SLURP is this piece, which stands for Smaller Little Ugly Rock Piece (I made that one up, that URP needed a name).

I don't use URPs myself, I make rock cliffs out of slope bricks (got the idea from ANP). I think it looks much better than the URPs.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

I like mixing URPs and sloped pieces, and regular bricks to create rock walls. Like in Archery!.
