Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film
Now way I'm rushing anything, mate. This film is going to take some time. At least it's finally being filmed.

Cooked Cat, that's very nice. The Lighting and angles, are great, particularly the one where it's tilted like mad.
I'm loving the lighting and angle on the first one.

Cooked cat, that's amazing stuff you've got there. Good job. ![]()
I'm liking that set (Although strictly speaking it should really go in the Sets and props critique thread)
As for the frame, the lighting looks good, though I'd maybe tone it down a bit so the contrast of the building is more noticable.
I like the general lighting but I don't think that the light coming out of the lamp posts looks very realistic. It looks like tiny little suns inside of the lamp ![]()
I'm not real sure what you could do to make it better, besides tone it down a bit and maybe angle it
I really like that set, cooked cat. I would agree with Saminatorger that there's too much light and it's hard to see the building, even if it's on fire.
Now, I've started animating again, after roughly 7 months of almost complete inactivity in stop motion animation (except one or two animation challenges), and I can't get the camera a decent quality image. It's hard to light the set properly too. Actually, it's very hard to make anything in that set, and it's probably the hardest animation I'm working on.
Here's a frame.

That is an interesting set! What is it made of? It looks like a coal mine or something!
Thank's. The translator says it's called "foam rubber" in english. I don't know if I should trust it or not.
I'm not a huge fan of using premade sets, but you've made it look pretty nice, Cooked Cat.
@Jargon
thanks
@topitmunkeydog

is this better or worse with the lights?
and btw, it's with a canon 550D(i think thats the rebel T3i or T2i, i dont know, it says "EOS Kiss X4" on it... so what ever that is...

@ZachFb
sorry, i forgot, then I edited my post......... ![]()
Cooked, try spending some time just looking up images of lights so you can learn how they actually look and work before trying to simulate them.
