I'm going to see Avengers tomorrow.
Just saw the Avengers. Definitely my favorite film of the year so far! It has a Great Screenplay, Great Action, and is actually pretty freaking funny ( And I ain't talking about Schlock humor here)! Joss Whedon does a fantastic job with this movie. Definitely recommend it!
I feel like Hawkeye and Black Widow are under appreciated and that Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk and Thor are to overexposed. My too favorite are actually Hawkeye and Black Widow.

I believe the movie was well balanced in the attention towards the different protagonists. And you also have to remember that Black Widow and Hawkeye did not have their own individual movies, so obviously the focus would have to be towards the main characters such as Iron Man and Captain America. If the movie was only focused mainly around Black Widow and Hawkeye, a large demographic of viewers would not be compelled to watch, as they are unknown to a large majority.
E.T (1982)
Now, Steven Spielberg is known as one of the greatest directors of all time. But, look at him disappointing us now. Lemme just say this...not his best, but not his worst.

I was disappointed that Steven Spielberg Directed this movie I don't know but he wrote the story it's a little funny but i gotta say it one of the worse but you can't blame Steven for this one

Also, I'd appreciate if you used "," and "." while writing, so that it's easier for us to read and understand.
Actually, I kind of disagree with the ratings you and Mickey gave to The Goonies and E.T. (especially E.T.), but it's just an opinion after all.
The Avengers
It was my first time watching a movie in 3D, but I don't think it added much to the cinematic experience. Even looked weird at some parts.
I wasn't expecting anything amazing. I enjoyed some parts, laughed at three or four jokes, but I wouldn't call it one of the best superhero movies (still, there are many superhero moviues I still have to see).
And I don't know if it was just the dubbing, but Hulk shouldn't be allowed to talk
if he's just going to say...whatever was the stupid thing he said after smashing Loki. And with a horrible voice, btw (probably just the dubbing).
The special effects were good, as I expected them to be, and the story...well, nothing extraordinary.
Overall, I really enjoyed it (except that the audience was laughing at everything, even if it wasn't funny), but, as I expected, nothing exceptionally amazing.

I must say, that was marvelous!

I wasn't actually too terribly excited about this film before, I thought it would be a cool Marvel movie and such, but nothing to drive me crazy. Then I realized that the director was the same guy who did Firefly, and I was so excited to see it.
Lots of action, epic over-the-top stuff, and it was really, really funny throughout.
Everyone must see this film (though, I'd recommend seeing the Marvel movies leading up to it first).

Eh, it was okay. A good action movie, a brilliant CGI spectacle, but the plot was pretty dull and the dialogue was bad at many points. I don't get the insane hype around this movie or why everyone is proclaiming it to be the best movie ever. Heck, I nearly fell asleep at least once.

Into the West (TNT miniseries)
Even though it's not typically a movie, it's still pretty awesome. At 9 hours long, it may not be the kind of thing that you find your average 13-year-old poised at the edge of his seat staring at. But, we're watching this in my History class at school, and we're addicted. Plus, it's got "spot-on" acting and a marvelous score.
From executive producer Steven Spielberg, Into the West chronicles the life of teenage wheelwright Jacob Wheeler (hey, what's in a name?) who runs off to join a group of explorers who are aching to explore the Great Unknown (otherwise known as California). However, a Lakota Native American tribe is in great struggle when the "white men", as they call it, slaughter their group of fresh buffalo.
The events in the story take place in most of the 19th century from the 1820s all the way to the 1890s as the characters grow older and older and older. Some die off, while others are just born. Overall, I'm really enjoying this. It seems like it's really in the Old West.

Ok wow, this movie was insanely epic. As some people have already mentioned, the jokes wern't to their highest standard, and is it me, or does NYC always get blown up in movies now days? 
I did however like the storyline, and I think everyone should see this.

I saw it in IMAX 3D. It was pretty great. Though, I felt that it dimmed the film too much, and I wished that they had brightened the 3D version up to counteract the dimming. It was also way too loud in that theater. Luckily, I had ear-plugs.
Does anyone know why Europe got it earlier, and why Assemble is added to the title in some places?
