The toys are actually fairly easy to animate, considering the only moveable parts are their heads. The hair kind of screws up though. So yeah it's very possible to include ponies in a brickfilm.

Brickfilmers already defy what a guy is "supposed" to like by still having Lego.  Liking MLP is just another thing we do that defies that.

The whole point of brickfilming is to have "bricks" in them. I dunno how that kid that won 2nd place in THAC 8 got away with it.

Exactly. It's a matter of personal choice if you use ponies in a brickfilm, as long as you use bric- erm, Lego.
