Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

You mean, "Shark-repellent Bat-spray"?

Anyway, I do think that the glass should be closer to the body, there's just too much of a gap there.
But I like the tail design. mini/smile

Pretty great. mini/smile Just make sure to have some shark repellent there.

Actually I am getting ready to stick it in. mini/lol Thanks!

@Pritchard: The glass is really hard to position, but I also have to have a space for Robin to be able to climb out. Thanks! mini/smile

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Wait, nevermind. I posted the wrong pics.

Triple post mini/shifty

Cookie if you guess the relation between this and the Bat-Copter.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

That's not just any old sub if I am correct.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

No, no. It's a ship. mini/lol A mini-scale ship, anyway.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Still looks like a sub.... mini/confused ..... mini/lol

Although you may want to try making it a little smoother, it looks too blocky right now.

As for the relationship, is that the cruse ship from the 1966 movie that isn't really there and gets Batman a shark bite?

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Yeah... it's supposed to be... Do you have any suggestions for making a miniature ship that isn't so blocky?

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

I like it. To make it less blocky though, you may want to make it a bit longer, and add some more sloped bricks.

Here's the new boat:

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

That looks much better. It's not nearly as blocky as before.

Don't be fooled, my avatar is a facade of conformity.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

I'm going to be honest, the second version is much better, but it still has that 'blocky' look to it. I would suggest using cheese slopes.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

That's really good! However, I think you should add some more color to it. Maybe a blue line on the cabin wall?

Here's a quick mini-model of Minas Tirith that I built today.

I still have to add all the buildings inside, as well as several other details. I'm not really sure I like how the mountain looks, so I'll probably end up rebuilding it.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

It looks great now, so I can't wait to see it finished.
And I hope you're planning on making a LOTR movie with that. mini/yes

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Okay, how's this?

The best so far! May I suggest the use of cheese slopes?

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Where do you think they would fit?

Around the studded sides, and the top.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Well in the movie there is a walkway around the sides, so I kind of wanted to keep it that way. But I will see where the slopes work best on top. mini/smile
