I've watched both trailers, and so far, it seems fine. (I could care less about it being "Dark" and violent.)
The LOTR movies are all PG-13, but I can watch them with no problem. It's not so much the rating, as why it's rated what it is. And while "Dark" isn't bad to a point, I couldn't watch any of the Nolan Batman films thanks to their being "Too dark." I'm not sure what the line is though, but being a "Spider-man" movie may help.
(I did get bonus points because when my mom happened to glace at my computer when I was looking into the movie, she saw the logo, and said "That's cool.")
And from everything that I've seen, TAS seems fine. That's a good sign, because Avengers has curse words in the trailers, (And Nick Fury in the movie
) so that's already out. But it just drives me up a wall how dispite LOTR doing so well WITHOUT stuff like curse words, lack of clothing, Ect, there's hardly a movie made that doesn't have those things.
Not to go all off-topic or anything.
