Ah, yes. A classic; I haven't seen that film in years!

Back to the Future Part III

I have to say, I think I liked this one better than the first two. I really enjoyed the Old West feel of it. Plus, Doc's qupte,

Your future is what YOU make of it.

You never hear good "speeches" like that anymore. I really enjoyed that movie.

The Incredible Shrinking Woman (1981)

My second time watching this. I forgot how brilliant this film is. Charles Grodin's role was heartwarming. (I'm still humming the Galaxy Glue theme to myself. mini/tongue )

Fantastic Mr. Fox

Saw this film for the first time a few days ago and absolutely loved it.
It was entertaining and excellently animated.

Knight and Day
Great film, very funny.
It seemed like it was making fun of every single action/thriller out there. For example, Bourne.

Superman: The Movie (DVD release and director's cut with added scenes)

I would have liked to see the original theatrical release without the new scenes. Probably would've made a difference. However, this film was greatly detailed and hinted with humor here and there. Ned Beatty's performance as Otis was outstanding. I enjoyed it. Plus, I think this will help me on my upcoming Superman video.

Tower Heist
All good except the ending, way too open.

Of mice and Men.
I found it a great film. I plan on reading the book, because I heard the ending it much different, but I can do it now, but will also be required to read it as a junior...

"Ooh! Icky, icky poo!"

Wild at Heart
Really enjoyed this, thought it was pretty good. The Wizard of Oz references were a bit odd, didn't really get that a whole lot other than the fact that the mum equals The Wicked Witch of the West, but I guess it's David Lynch so what do you expect. I did like it when Lula clacked her red shoes together after Willem Dafoe left]. And Nic Cage was great in this, and intentionally so, too, which is always good. He was cool in this.
There were scenes, one scene in particular (the final one with Ernest Borgnine in it) where I said " what the !@#$ is going on?" out loud, but again, David Lynch. Still need to watch Eraserhead and Twin Peaks...

Already seen Blue Velvet, loved it.
"Heineken? !@#$ that !@#$! Pabst Blue Ribbon!"
I've also seen Dune, (the three hour version), though I may need to rewatch it, as I saw it years and years ago and didn't really get it at all. But those two and Wild at Heart are all the Lynch I've seen. Has he done anything else worth seeing other than Eraserhead and Twin Peaks?

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Lost Highway and Mullholland Drive
