Aloha. My name's Rob... I'm a hip hop artist and I wanted to sponsor a contest to make a brick film for my next music video, Fly. Any guidance on how to best approach the community would be appreciated. Mahalos.
EDIT: I'm also interested in talking with independent film makers in the community that would be interested in a project like this.

Hey Rob, sounds like a very cool idea. I'm sure plenty of people in this community (including myself) are interested in what you're doing! I would suggest starting off by making a separate thread describing what you have in mind and what you are thinking.

Hello. I've been on this site for a while now. I love brickfilming, it's really fun. In the future I would like to be a professional director and writor of live-action films. My other interests beside brickfilming are computers, *cough* *cough* ponies *cough* *cough*, Doctor Who, Minecraft, and lots of other stuff that's cool for nerds like me. I also play some musical instruments; drums, piano, and this February I'm going to start learing how to play a guitar. My biggest influences for filmmaking are great directors such as Steven Spielberg, Christoper Nolan, Peter Jackson etc.

It isn't that strange. I know Just Kidden in real life. I've known him longer than I've been on this site.
If you think about it, though, you actually kinda know people over the internet in real-life, despite the fact that most people act as though the internet is a fantasy world that somehow isn't real. It's really a part of life, and effects it just like anything else.
