Topic: Quickcam 9000 and widescreen test - HELP! YOUTUBE MADE IT BLURRY!
This was the first time I uploaded an avi file to youtube (the rest had been windows movie maker files) but I guessed it would work. I animated the test with my new quickcam 9000 at 640x480 in monkeyjam and then used virtual dub to crop it to 16:9 so it would play fullscreen on youtube. I then uploaded it (it took over an hour to upload as it always does) and looked at it. The picture was really blurry and I can't understand why! Has anybody else had this problem? What do you suggest? This is the first time youtube has let me down. Ironically, it was the day youtube was going through "improvements". Should I convert it to another format like quicktime and then upload it? I'd be grateful if someone could help me with this as it is causing me a lot of grief and stress. Here's a link to the test:
