Background is a bit off putting, though...
Really? I quite like the style.
nice frame NXT. ![]()

Very nice. ![]()
Okay, now I know for sure I don't stand a chance in the competition... all I wanted was to make a wee brickfilm, a modest little something, and both NXT and Olsonstudios have crushed that hope into a fine powder.
Ah well. There's a $10 set for entering.
That $10 set is the reason I'm entering. I'm not happy with how my entry is turning out. Those figures are very difficult to animate. NXT's is lookin' really good though.
Really? I thought the figures were easier to animate than Lego... the only way I can beat you guys is through a good storyline (pffft... unlikely, mine isn't exactly Oscar-winning), as you're both fantastic with the special effects and cinematography. Ah, perhaps the judges will take pity on me.
Why are the frames on the Insomniac page? Are you ditching NXTManiac Productions?
I'm assuming because NXT has a copyright? Insomniac doesn't. Just a guess.
I look forward to seeing yours, Olson! Have you submitted yet?
Harsh. I feel unloved. Admittedly, this'll be a much better animation than my *ahem* others.
NXTManiac is an awful name. Insomniac is a better name, in my opinion.
I actually quite liked working with the Mega Bloks figures. There are a lot more joints, and I think I really took advantage of that in my video. I look forward to seeing yours, Olson! Have you submitted yet?
On topic: Those frames look great, can't wait to see the film.
Off-topic: What about all the videos you have? Youtube partnership? The fanbase you have builtup?
I'm glad you're making the switch NXT, Insomniac is a better name. Sounds more pro, less toy-ish. I'm planning on submitting it tonight, just need to export it.
My animation is... mediocre in this film, kinda bummed me out that I didn't take advantage of the other joints.
Eh, I'll just keep my username of NXTManiac94. It's the website and YouTube branding that will change.
And here on BiM, where you can easily change your username...?
I know this is off-topic but NXT, why would you change your production name. We've known you as NXTManiac for years, why change?
