I like it a lot. mini/smile

However, the lighting, though cool, is a bit too yellow-ish. Much like X//:Arena.
My camera has a setting I found to reduce yellow-ish orangeness, do you have one?

On a Logitech Webcam Pro 9000, that would be the White Balance.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

Here's an insignificant yet important frame from my upcoming short "The Invasion"

Too yellow-ish? What if that's the style he wants? It's his lighting. Let him handle things how he wants to.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Brickyman, glad to see you have returned mini/bigsmile .

I like the shot a lot. Your cinematography is really nice. Looking forward to the film.

Rafael, I generally like the shot (Specifically the effects), but I feel the framing is a bit awkward.

Thanks Juggernaut, and i believe that'd be my bad camera quality (if that's what you thought looked awkward) mini/tongue

He meant the framing, which is how the characters are positioned in the frame. In your frame, the guy and the skeleton aren't centered. Judging by this, the guy is centered in the prevoius frames, but looks back to see the skeleton in this frame.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

oh ok i get it now, yeah that's what happened the guy is centered in the previous frames and and while running he takes a look at the other who is shot by the aliens, however i don't know why it seems awkward, it's normal to me...

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Great frame ANP. I like the way the only thing in focus is the figures, good use of depth of field there.
May I ask what camera that was taken with?

And NXT's frame looks great too. Seems a few people on this website are going for that mega blocks contest, I don't blame you with prizes like that.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Thanks. mini/smile
It's a Nikon D3100, I really love it.
My last camera only had auto focus. mini/twitch
So, as you may imagine, this is a huge improvement for me. I got a wire remote too. mini/bigsmile NO MORE TOUCHING THE CAMERA EVERY FRAME.
xD

Here are some more pictures taken with it if you're interested.

But until I get a macro filter, I'm not going to be able to get any close-ups.
The is as close as I can go even with maximum zoom.
Haha xD

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

@ANP That frame is looking really cute! Can't wait to see it!

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Awesome frame ANP, i love the lighting mini/smile

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Your framing is a bit odd, ANP, considering that you've cut off part of the lady's feet and included a fair amount of empty space at the top of the frame. Also, is there a reason you're shooting in 4:3?
