Your framing is a bit odd, ANP, considering that you've cut off part of the lady's feet and included a fair amount of empty space at the top of the frame. Also, is there a reason you're shooting in 4:3?

The reason for not showing there feet much is due to the fact that I have something there I didn't really want to be seen. You see, the very thin type of boards don't have very good studs, they're kinda rounded and loose. Since I was using one of those as a base plate, I couldn't very well put the dude at that angle easily, so I put some plates over the set, and just tried to angle it so that the awkward plates wouldn't be seen, and I put some extra flower to hide a bit that was still in frame.

I didn't get any closer to remove some of the empty space at the top because I can't. This camera's focus is limited, I'll need to get a macro filter soon.

As for the aspect ratio, it's just the default for the camera, I don't know if it's changeable. Would you suggest it be more square, or more rectangular?

Ever considered some sort of clay? Bluetac is the brickfilming community's favorite, though I in particular use sculpy, as it comes in several colors, including green.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

I prefer kneed-able erasers. I try to use them as little as possible. And here I thought it would be simplest to just use regular studs.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Looks absolutely great ANP!

I'm working on getting my studio back up and running, so stay posted...

Probably not in-camera (you'll have to dig around the settings yourself) but cropping the image in post-production isn't hard.

A 16:9 aspect ratio (my preferred choice) is usually available if you scroll through the list of available image resolutions.

But until I get a macro filter, I'm not going to be able to get any close-ups.
The is as close as I can go even with maximum zoom.
Haha xD

Which lens you're using now?

I was also thinking about macro filter but these will decrease the focus range and distort the image.
I did some test and for close-ups on DSLR and in my case I need a lens up to 250mm

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

It looks a bit blurry and the different coloured brown brick is sort of distracting.
