Another thing that would have helped this would not be rounding the numbers down. But have them scored #/240. With six judges, and four categories all with ten points each, the maximum score ever possible would be 240.
That way, we wouldn't have loads of things tie. 
Actually Binding Brick, your 31st - I am 32nd. And I don't know - I personaly think that Nick Durron's entry wasn't the best, and that JK & Jstudios deserved to be in the first five, and Lucas & Living Lego in at least the first ten. But there's still FoS 2011 waiting for us!
There are ten highlighted names! it might be one of the judges top ten.
I'm highlighted, but still no idea what it means. EDIT: Ifit means that I'm above the tie, then I guess I'm 17th not 18th.

Highlited numbers indicate films that tied with other films if you look off to the side you'll see that some films have the same average score.
Onion, give us a good contest. If you ever need a judge, I'm always available.

Well asking Nick Durron not to enter a BIM contest is like asking the old Tiger Woods not to enter a golf tournament.
Don't you want to go against the best and not have an easy win just handed to you?

Nevertheless, I don't know why Nick Durron, TheFourMonkeys and NXT are so highly placed in the list. The next time, you should give a chance to the younger generation of brickfilmers (Eddie, Onion ect.)...

Ahaha, I'm sorry LGFB, but that's a ridiculous thing to say. The satisfaction of winning a contest should be that you beat the best, not that they stepped aside and let you win.
Thanks for hosting this Golithan! I'm happy to have tied with Onion for 20th but, in my opinion, neither Nick nor NXT should have placed so high. I was also disappointed to have placed relatively low. I mean, I didn't expect to win but with people predicting me much higher than 20th place I'd hoped to place a bit closer to the top ten. But I guess that's just how it goes.
I would like to congradulate the winners. Especially StanTheLegoMan, NickDurron, and Jackabascal .
.There's something I don't understand: wich list is the right one? The top ten or the new one?
What happened with Jstudios going down to 16th (a place that I think he doesn't deserve)? And JK going down by two places? I don't know whether to be happy or not of being in 8th place instead of 10th, because although it's a better placement, I don't feel that it's my place. I mean, Jstudios and absurd animation were there first. I'm confused.
Also, maybe I didn't search well, but I would like to know what were the ratings. Onion said theme interpretation wasn't one of them: is that true? I can't really be sure that is the truth, since he wasn't a judge and I didn't see rating system anywhere.
I'm not sure whether to trust or not the new list, so I will still consider myself as tenth.

Maybe something is lost in translation, but it looks to me like you're saying that either the higher ranked entrants shouldn't be entering contests for the sake of newer members, or that the judges should have given higher rankings to newer members even if they didn't deserve it, because the results are getting "boring". Either one of those strikes me as, yes, incredibly ridiculous. I wasn't a huge fan of Abduction, but per the system employed in judging this contest, it undeniably deserved the place it received. There was no conspiracy to put Nick at the top of the ratings yet again. It just happened that way.
But note story is one of the judging aspects, and from the ballots Goliathan showed me for Nick Durron's entry, 3/5 judges gave the story top marks, when the story wasn't anything great.
There were very few films in the contest that I would have given great marks in story, so that's kind of a null point. Admittedly, I would have liked to see a more weighted ballot where story was given higher consideration, but that's not my call to make. I'm not going to go out on a limb to defend the other judges as they can explain themselves if they like, but Nick made an overall solid film, and that's what it really took to win this contest. I can't say I find it surprising that it won, and I don't think it won just because he's Nick Durron.
