I'm sorry guys but it looks like my entry just isn't going to happen. I have had a very busy week so far and not to much time to do my animation. plus im gonna be leaving for a weekend long trip tomorrow . so it looks like i wont be able to participate in this one

I have a logo that I would like to put at the end of my video, but it does not have the mod element in it. Is that allowed?

If it's like a lego logo, then it'd have to have the MOD element in it.

Okay, well, I shot 10 seconds of animation tonight (I love how it turned out!) however whilst I put the mod element in, the darkness of the shot means you can't see it. Would it be okay if I just sent you a shot of the set with the mod elements to show you that it was there? I don't really know what else to do.
I have a question regarding the mod elements. In the first shot of our entry, the mod elements are covered due to the fact that the two characters are standing in their view, however, during the scene, you can see that the mod elements were there, but that the characters were covering them for the first shot. Would our entry still count? Also, do variants of black count (i.e. dark gray?) My example is very similar to 0:06 of this video. The mod element is not visible in the shot because someone is blocking it, but you know that it is there.

You should be ok JP. Onion as long as you send in a photograph the scene with the mod element visible you'll be Ok. dark gray and lime are acceptable variants.

This has never been the case in any previous BRAWL or THAC entries and doesn't make sense, imo.

Actually - after watching it a few times I found a mod element anyway. The guys trousers are black, and he was walking on green grass. As it happened I wasn't happy with the animation and re-did it. Thanks anyway, though. Much appreciated.

Okay, but it doesn't make sense to but a lego animation as your logo, without a MOD element, for a contest ran that you have to have the MOD element in each shot.

If you're using it as a logo, the logo is probably going to be used in other films, most likely without MOD elements. Changing the logo once for a contest that has a mod element doesn't really make much sense.
