Re: ToY: Possessed

NXT, that is by far the best thriller brickfilm I've ever seen! mini/bigsmile
It was so intense, so well animated, so, well, thrilling!!! xD
I loved this film very very much.
Your visual effects were amazing, and the monster shot was really cool, I also especially love the ending and how it was cut. You need to make more action brickfilms, because you're got a wonderful talent for it. It's one of my favorite entries.

Good job. mini/smile

Though, some shots seemed posterized for some reason.

Re: ToY: Possessed

Wow... Wow... And... Wow?

This is your best film so far... Good luck! mini/bigsmile

Good work, everything was very well done especially since you made it in less than two weeks.
The ending shot was awesome.

Re: ToY: Possessed

This is really stretching it when it comes to 'Tales of Yore'. However, the film was so beautiful that I don't think that historical settings matter. Great job, your best work.

Re: ToY: Possessed

I watched it a few minutes ago. I really liked it. I mean I really liked it!
I loved the visual effects, too!
I think you should make a part two like the villager guy saves all the others somehow.
Just a thought.

Overall, a 5/5!

Re: ToY: Possessed

Great stuff man, considering this was done in only 2 weeks.  Loved the top-hated squid person, it gave me the creeps.

When I started watching this, I realized something.  NXTManiac made a serious brickfilm.  I guess I'm just so used to seeing you make cartoony and funny brickfilms (which isn't a bad thing at all) that watching your work actual convey emotion was a bit of a surprise.

Good job nonetheless.

He's remarkably good at it. mini/smile

NXT is the master of comedy and trills.
Haha xD

Re: ToY: Possessed

Your tale of a missing child beats my almost TOY entry. It was good, I enjoyed the ending, nice job NXTManiac. I'll need to refilm my entire project just to compete with you!

Re: ToY: Possessed

Great! I loved the camera angles, and the story, and everything! It was really good! Also, I especially like the nighttime shot. I'll have to try that. mini/smile

So yeah, I'm back from my mind.

Re: ToY: Possessed

That was damn good, nice work. One of the most intense brickfilms I've ever seen. And the final shot was brilliant.

Re: ToY: Possessed

The video was just.. awesome mini/bigsmile
i loved the lighting, animation, camera angles, everything! it was your best work yet, and i think you should make some more serious films too (I still love the comedy ones).
Great job mini/smile

Re: ToY: Possessed

Good, finally an attempt at horror in a brickfilm. That too a very successful one. I honestly was creeped out by the red eyes that kept popping up and all, so much i felt like closing the laptop as I do when I watch horror movies mini/XD .

Nicely done.

Re: ToY: Possessed

Very very impressive NXT. As JP said, historical elements might not be much, and I didn't really get the monster part, but it was really good never the less. You have a huge chance of winning, good luck!
4/5.

Re: ToY: Possessed

Loosely focused on the medieval setting, in my opinion, but all the technical aspects were very impressive. Simple story, but executed pretty well. Kept me at the edge of my seat.

Good work.

Re: ToY: Possessed

Should have posted this last night after I watched the film, but that was brilliant. This is definitely my favourite entry so far, also, watching it late at night as I did actually makes it seem pretty darn creepy at parts. I am also particularly fond of the clever lighting technique you used in the night time scenes.

This is a definite 5/5 in my book. It was one of those videos which I instantly favourited and gave thumbs up to on Youtube about 1 minute in.

Re: ToY: Possessed

I am compelled to watch this again and again. For the night lighting, my guess is you put a lamp behind a thin paper backdrop.

Re: ToY: Possessed

Woah. This is simply amazing NXT. The animation was fantastic, as was the horror setting and the lighting. The camera movements were to die for, and they only make me want your camera rig all the more. mini/bigsmile

I didn't see how it fit the theme very well but it needs to win all the same. 5/5.
