Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]
Ofcourse, there's intense drama, conversations, it all builds up to the two murder sequences. It's more of subtle gore, it's more effective when you only see little blood.

Yea, I like action and cliffhanger movies more than bloody ones.

A little "test" shot from my film:
one day = one done brickfilm
success
A little "test" shot from my film:
Nice Kinz. is that in the actual film, or is it just a "test"?
EDIT: Excuse my stupid question. I didn't read the "test" part.

Okay, we're at T minus 23 hours now. I'm going to get going with the last bit of animation, I'm hoping to have this done and submitted by 10 tonight. The end is in sight.
I'm out of it. My laptop (which had all my film on it) has got a problem with the electrical part of the motherboard, and the engineer can't come here until Monday.
My laptop is working now, I switched on and now it's working (It only needed A REST?
) so, I'll enter. Probably close to the deadline but I'll enter. ![]()
A little "test" shot from my film:
Some work could be done on the depth of field effects. It was a little jarring when the camera would move, then stop abruptly while the focus changed before moving again. I'd also suggest making the focus change a lot faster and smoother, the effect seemed too slow, and linear I guess, in the clip you posted. Otherwise it looks cool.
I'm going to start my entry now.
just submited mine
I'm going to start my entry now.
Um, good luck. I think you might need it, not much time! ![]()
Anyway, I've nearly finished all the animation. Then editing and uploading. I'm definitely in this, I'm not going to win but I'M STILL ENTERING!!
I can't wait to watch all the entries. May the best animator win!
I can't wait to watch all the entries.
Me too.
Just one more day! ![]()
I hope some people don't wait a while before releasing. ![]()

Don't push your luck
.
What do you mean?
Are you going to delay your entry?
I guess we'll have to wait a while before seeing your entry and that sweaty guy in your signature.

I mean don't expect to see that many straight releases right after the deadline ends. And you won't have to wait too long to see the 'sweaty' guy; we don't plan to delay that long...
Well, JP, there's nothing wrong with hoping. ![]()
Though, pessimism can be healthy at times.
I probably won't post here again until my entry's finished, so good luck peepz. I'm going in! No turning back! CHARGE!
Have you forgotten this, Film Fire?

The finished film might be in Black and White guys for censorship reasons, color is too gruesome.

Nope, but I've nearly finished! The animations all now 100% complete, and I just need to edit. I've got enough time I think.
Anyway, my film's about 14 minutes. I really want to shorten it because I think that's too long, but I can't really shorten it much more (I'e already cut out about a minute and a half, I can't post it on youtube if it's over 15 minutes).
What do you guys think, is 14 minutes too long? There isn't any dialog, and a bit of action, but not a lot of comedy unfortunately.

As long as it's entertaining, it should be fine.
