Since the contest has not ended, Jargon is certainly not "out of it" yet.  He sure picked a fascinating title!  I am looking forward to seeing his film and all the TOY entries (although it is disappointing that I voice-acted in around a dozen TOY films, and I think only one of them ended up actually being made *sigh*).

Good luck to everyone who did manage to complete an entry! mini/smile

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

I'm out of it. My laptop (which had all my film on it) has got a problem with the electrical part of the motherboard, and the engineer can't come here until Monday. mini/sad

So, good luck to everybody else entering.

May 2013 update:
Back after taking a VERY FREAKING long break. 14 months, I believe. Anyways I'm going to be making films again. Much better ones.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

I'm still in! Last day of filming for me - editing is tomorrow all day.

Still may be hope yet. mini/smile
He's not been on much lately. Maybe it's because of rushing to the finish to complete his film on time, hopefully, we'll see it.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

Pages 45/75 complete, still got 30 pages left!

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

mini/confused I can't finish my entry. Too busy. mini/blankexpression

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

I've got too last bits to film, both of which quite fun bits (one's a chase/fight, the others a big sword fight).
I've also got all of tomorrow, and I'm going to work quite late into the night tonight (it's not a school night so I'll probably stay up to 9 editing/animating). I'm getting really tired of this now, but the final film will be worth the work I think.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

Congratulations sir.  That very frame alone has managed to sicken, and disgust me in a way I never thought possible using a LEGO medium.

I am now ready to receive your entry with open arms.

I must know what you used for the blood.

Hey, Welcome back LSP.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

It's 9 here and I'm still animating. Been going pretty well today, I've got tomorrow to film the final fight and edit. I've already done about 5 minutes of editing so the rest probably won't take much more than a few hours.
Oh, RealBrick, are you still making your titanic film? Because I was really looking forward to that.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

At the moment, it is still postponed, but I have a script in progress for a Detective film.

Each entry you submit must:

  • Not contain adult language, excessive violence (blood and gore) or sexual themes.

We reserve the right to disqualify entries at our discretion, not to discourage you from entering but depending on the amount of graphic violence in an entry it could be disqualified.

I don't know about everyone else, but mindless gore doesn't add to the enjoyment of a film for me. I hope there is more to your film than a bunch of violent gory scenes with no real substance to them.
