Just a small test of walking a mecha.
found out that it's really hard... too many hinges compared to a minifig.
Going to try to make a simpler mecha. This one was based on an exoforce model.

A little choppy, but it's quite good especially for how much harder it is to animate a mecha
That looked really good!
Depending on the flexibility of the mech I would suggest make him stomp a bit more instead of walking, he looked a bit stiff. But seriously, that was great!
Very nice! I'd suggest lifting his legs more, with Mechas you really want to over-exaggerate the steps.
Pretty good considering that those are hard to animate.

Yeah, it was pretty good. Stomping would definitely have made it look more realistic, if you find it hard to pose it then I would say to stick some blue tack behind the joints. That way they aren't visible in the camera, and hold it up better. May not work that well, but I found it worked with those floppy skeletons.
Another test, wider stance, higher feet, removed some of the armour plating.
Personally, I think this looks better than the first test...
