Timothy R wrote:I enjoy The Incredibles actually; in fact I'd much prefer a sequel to that than Cars (Worst Pixar film ever, IMO)
I'm in complete agreement. The Incredibles 2 is the only animated film I can think of that not only deserves, but would have a good sequel.
It had a video game made instead of a sequel, but no-one ever brings that up so I guess its not very good. There is only one way to find out: *Goes to look for a copy*
I do really admire 'Wall.E' for being one of the only movies to deliberately and stressfully convey an environmental message without being...um....Avatar-ey....
Teeth
...
I don't think I could watch that movie. I just don't think I could do it.
Tucker and Dale vs Evil
Well this movie wasn't a masterpiece or anythin' but you'd be dumb to expect that
it's basically a parody of Horror movies and it definitely has it's moments. I really enjoy Horror comedies as they are both a little bit scary and darn funny and that my friends is a great mix!
The Incredible Hulk
Oh my GOD! It was so much better than the terrible HULK movie (released in 2003). Ed Norton was outstanding as Bruce Banner and the love of his life Elizabeth Ross (Liv Tyler) was well played by the actress. It's a very enjoyable movie and definitely a relief after that sucky Hulk movie....
Day Of The Dead (1985)
Pretty good ending for the Romero Zombie trilogy, I really liked the characters here (<3 Bub and Rhodes). The only problem I have is that we just know the zombies are gonna break in, it's almost like a cliché that needs to happen. And it annoyed me a bit how they got in,
I know the Latino Guy was having a nervous breakdown but it's seems weird that he suddenly wants everybody dead and feed himself to the zombies, he was really scared of them, why let yourself die that way?
And I really loved Bub, I actually felth sad for the zombie when
he saw Frankenstein's body.
But I really liked this Romero Zombie

Rio
Eh, compared to most of the other animated films today, it was okay, but the comedy and visuals were a little bland. (E.g, one person looks like he was made out of plastic) Also, I don't get why they put so many "Angry Birds" in here.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Brilliant! 3rd time watching it this year, must say, never get tired of it. There was some really impressive visuals, and I always get into a heated argument with whoever else is watching about Hermione's time-turner.
I must say, Alfonso Cuarón did a pretty good job, despite his constant closing-vignette transitions.

Hop
Wow, that was a ton better than I expected. Illumination is doing good so far.
I lol'd at Fred's dad's reaction to the Easter Sleigh thing. "Wow, my son's the Easter Bunny. Wow."
Can't wait for Illuminations next project. If they keep the good films up, they'll do almost as good as Pixar.
The Prince of Egypt
Finally got around to see it, and it was very well done.

I was responding to jstudio's comment about how he heard that Hop was terrible. I didn't have a better answer.
