Re: What was the last movie you watched?
Whatever, switch to Ozu and you'll be fine.

Girl Next Door
This film was disgusting, my parents now are limiting what I watch.
That's surprising.
Well, it must be pretty bad to disgust you.

Told ya so.
American Psycho
I love this movie. It's so good.
I love that movie, but now everytime I go to an aquarium I hear "Nemo, Nemo!" about 20 times. I mean, the film as made, what 8 years ago?
It was made back in 2003, and I also heard at least 25 boys screamind "Nemo fish! Nemo fish!" last time I went to an aquarium.

I just finished Groundhog Day. It's basically this egomaniac reporter goes to cover that groundhog thing in PA, and he get's stuck living that same day over and over again. Even if he kills himself, he wakes up on Groundhog Day. It's really boring until the near the end, which is when it's actually funny. I'd give it a 5/10.
In a good way or a bad way? I've seen all of the films that apparently meet each other and they're all awesome, so I assume in a good way?
EDIT: Except for Three Amigos.
I'd take it as a good way. Rango is an amazing animated movie that will kick Pixar's arse this year.

Pretty good thriller. Slightly confusing, but it's a sci-fi so I'll accept that. ![]()
Not as good as the director's other film Moon, but still a very entertaining movie.

I concur. Rango was awesome. Prince Of Persia, Sands Of Time on the other hand......
I really didn't like it as much. Lots of blood, cookie-cutter evil-uncle-stereotype thing, on top of that a romance that the screenwriter worked so hard to build
that was lost at the end of the film
......
6/10, because it was well-directed and I'm feeling a bit generous.

Watchmen
I'm not a fan of the comics, but by the film, i'd say it's a pretty weird super hero story, even though, the movie was pretty good, but still, i didn't like the end very much because Manhattan was completely destroyed
I've seen the movie but you've just wrote a spoiler for those who haven't.... ![]()
Rango
I lurved it. This may be the one year when a CG film made by a different company triumphs over a Pixar film.

From Paris with Love
It sounds like a Bond rip-off, but it isn't. Its your typical Drug Dealer/Terrorist conspiracy complete with two buddy-agents. So, why may you be a little more interested?
Because it has John Travolta. And I'm not talking about 'Battlefield Earth' Travolta, nor 'Saturday Night Fever' Travolta (although, I LOVE SNF), nor 'Hairspray' Travolta. Its basically if Travolta was part of 'The Expendables' and got a spin-off movie. He's bald with a beard and a tan, and he actually looks like he's really enjoying himself. Definitely the best part of the movie.
If you want nothing more than some good action and Travolta being awesome, this is worth your time.
Frost/Nixon
I'd like to start off by saying the acting in this movie was incredible. It's difficult to portray a real character, especially one that many people know, because you have to get their personality just right, but every single facial expression or fleeting emotion was executed perfectly. I always thought of Nixon as being a 'bad guy', someone who you look at and think, "Yeah, he mucked up". But this movie showed him as much more than that - it made him appear to be as human as the next guy. I could even empathise with him at the end. A really great movie, everyone should see this.
Skyline
OMG what an appalling ending. It's basically a rip off of War Of The Worlds, Day of the Triffids (kind of) and the ending is undescribably bad
Man, Skyline sucked.
Once Upon a Time in Mexico
This time I only watched the scenes with Johnny Depp, Agent Sands is a great character. The rest of the film is kinda meh, though.
Oh, and Willem Dafoe as a Mexican is both stupid and awesome at the same time. Christopher Walken as a Mexican would have been better, though.
The Social Network (with audiocommentary by Fincher)
Fincher had to say some pretty interesting stuff. Great movie.
