Everyone seems to think, that i think blender is bad. I do not think blender is bad. What i know is that maya is more versatile. Does that make sense?
I really don't want to continue this debate, it's just getting people annoyed for nothing, but I just have to poke in that no one ever said they think you think Blender is bad. I'm not entirely sure how Maya is more versatile in the overall though, because although the program might not have quite as steep a learning curve, it's certainly not versatile in the fact that it costs boatloads of money.
Edit: So there's this one thing I made a while back that I'm considering making a character to go with it.

How should one go about starting the character model for this? I haven't done too much modeling as far as real people/living things, mainly having focused on Lego stuff and inanimate objects, so any help/tips/all that good stuff would be awesome. (Yes, I could and most likely will also change the colors of the sword to look cooler and match the armor of the character I make for it.)
