Man, it's taken forever for me to get this set to the point of animation, but I got it there. After I finished building everything I was messing with the lighting and as I moved a light its cord caught on the set and toppled it over, I was pretty crushed and ended up going to bed.
The next day I rebuilt it and spent most of the day setting up the light, I had wondered why I had been planning to shoot the scene with my 35mm lens when it seemed perfect for my super wide 18mm lens, it was a wide shot after all. I switched out lenses and got everything in focus and then added the zeppelin to the shot, once the zeppelin was in the shot I realized that almost none of the zeppelin would be in frame if I used the 18mm lens because it was so close, I had to use the 35mm to get the more of the zeppelin in frame, (there was no way I could get any more in frame by using my 55mm lens because due to space limitations I couldn't get the camera far enough back.
Once everything was in place the lighting looked pretty sweet, ended up getting 10 seconds of animation on the first take which feels like it never happens on this movie.
I have one more shot I need to do in this set, hopefully I can get that done tomorrow, but sometimes on Sundays I am to tired to animate.
