I think I know how you made that. Clever!
This looks like a very promising film.
Looking forward to its release soon (hint, hint). ![]()
This looks very interesting, cant wait!
I'm on a boat.
Probably the thing that slows me down the most when I make movies is I tend to write scripts that have to many sets. I find it very hard to think up ideas to build sets, I have been putting the shooting on hold till I could figure out what to even make this set look like. There is a decent bit of animation that takes place in it so now that I have a clear-ish plan on how I want to to look it should be full speed ahead.
For those that don't follow my flickr, this is what my new workspace is like:
Dude, this took about a month of brain farts to get to this point. I follow The Brothers Brick and Brickd to let me see good builders using techniques that you don't see in Brickfilm very often. It really helps to check them regularly.
Also I figured out that that this set just doesn't photograph well on my 55mm micro lens. To much of the walls get lost do to the long-ish focal length, but I can just barely get the minifig in focus on my 18mm lens and it looks epic ![]()
Seriously man, you are like, the best set builder ever. :') This is probably the brickfilm that I'm anticipating the most right now. I WANT IT NOW. ![]()
